Innovations for sustainable safe
and secure drinking water supply
A new round of the Mülheim Water Award is initiated. The competition theme has remained the same but we have a new patron for the eighth round: Marc Buchholz, the new Lord Mayor of the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr.
How to apply for the Mülheim Water Award? It is simple: between December 2021 and February 2022 you will find an online application form for pre-qualification on our website. This will make it easy for you to apply. From the pool of submitted applications, the jury will identify the most promising candidates and will request further documents for the second application phase.
Individual and group applicants from all over Europe are permitted to apply with innovative procedures, products, concepts and new findings with a strong focus on practical use and application within drinking water supply and water analysis.
The prize to win in 2022 are 10.000€, donated in equal parts by the water supplier RWW Rheinisch-Westfälische Wasserwerksgesellschaft and GERSTEL GmbH & Co. KG, a producer of automated systems for instrumental chemical analysis. The Mülheim Water Award will again be coordinated by IWW Zentrum Wasser in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany.
