Mülheim Water Award is back with a fresh design:
There also is a new focus with more emphasis on water analysis topics
and a related new sponsor, the GERSTEL GmbH & Co. KG.
From now on, the Award will be granted every two years. The submission for the Mülheim Water Award 2018 starts on 1st December 2017. Interested parties can submit their applications on “Innovations for water systems and water analysis for sustainable water management and safe and secure drinking water supply”.
The Mülheim Water Award honours practice-oriented research and development projects as well as the implementation of innovative concepts for a secure drinking water supply and water analysis. The Award is endowed with a total of EUR 10.000 and is intended for applicants from Europe who can be natural or legal persons, groups of persons and institutions.
The Mülheim Water Award was reviewed and presents itself this year with a revised appearance and a stronger focus on water supply. Next to the RWW Rheinisch-Westfälische Wasserwerksgesellschaft, a new sponsor GERSTEL now supports the award, covering the water analysis sector. The Mülheim Water Award is coordinated by IWW Water Centre. The sponsors as well as the coordinator are based in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany.
The Mülheim Water Award was first granted in 2006. During the previous five competitions, more than 100 applications from 20 different European countries were received. The applications covered the entire range of water management.
