The intention of the Muelheim Water Award is to provide and to spread existing know-how, innovative solutions as well as the demand for internationally acknowledged research projects. Main emphasis is placed on practical and applied approaches in water management.

The competition for the Muelheim Water Award 2010 is closed. Subject for the submission was:

The Muelheim Water Award is endowed with 20,000.- € in total. It is awarded biennially.
The prize money is donated by RWE Aqua GmbH.

The submission of the Muelheim Water Award 2012 will start from the 1st of January 2012.
